Darsena Christmas Village: Milan’s Xmas.

“Between 4 December and 6 January, Milan will enjoy a new Christmas event, the Darsena Christmas Village, in Milan’s recently renovated Navigli canal quarter.

The village, complete with ice-skating rink, colourful Christmas markets and of course a Christmas tree – 15 m tall – is sure to attract both visitors and inhabitants of Milan.

And Milan Council has lots more surprises in store. The event, masterminded by Councillors Chiara Bisconti and Franco D’Alfonso, has special attractions for children, who can ride a waterslide to Father Christmas’ grotto and explore an exciting Fairy-Tale Forest.”
