Why am I a woodpecker?

If you are curious about my logo, there is a short tale you should know. I am a waiter, a musician, a photographer, but most of all I am a “picchio” which means “woodpecker” in Italian. That’s how my quite-distract-girlfriend calls me when she’s trying to be multitask. When she’s cooking some of her lovely spaghetti, for example, she’s too busy to focus on my name… so you can bet she’ll call me Picchio, never Franco! That’s how my new identity came out. So when we had to think of a graphic design for my house, we had no doubt.
